Beautifully Human (A Poem About Brandon)


A life that is fading and a beauty so deep,
Any human being can recall a time in need,
A talent of a natural kind and a flawless way,
Beautifully lonesome, beautifully afraid.

In any moment in time, a life can be shining,
A spotless exterior and a legacy to pass on,
In a second spend alone a tiredness has grown,
Beautifully human, beautifully shown.

An aching is inside and the pain is in me,
A pleading for condemnation and a salty tear,
A place to come to realize a place inside of me,
Beautifully aware, beautifully in need.

Grey matter is the answer; expose all your dreams,
Placing all the visions and rearrange the themes,
And now a time is spent on the other side of belief,
Beautifully human, beautifully achieved.
