Does anyone here enjoy listening to the Blues and if so, what artists do you enjoy? It's quite a special day because it's Eric Clapton's 60th birthday today and B.B. King's 80th later on in the year. I love my Blues.

I really like Bonnie Raitt!!! We have a great blues fest here every summer which luckily is on the island behind my house.

I too love Bonnie Raiit. I have her guesting on several albums of mine, artists such as Keb' Mo', John Hiatt & Paul Brady and she brings a certain something to each song. I love her!

My favorite blues artist is Rory Block. She's Christian, and went through a pop phase (when I found out about her); the pop albums are also excellent. Low, throaty voice (I'm a soprano, so always envious of altos), awesome guitar playing, social commentary. -Jenny
