God a few years ago, God told me that media is a venue for youth and intrested a like to know him, and that that is where He wanted me. If I were to be in media now I know that the public and Christians a like would rip me apart. I dont know how to defend my faith now. Everyone sees me a sucha condtradiction. It feels impossible to be in the media now. Pray for direction and faith for me I need it so much.

Thanks everyone, Annora("nora" AKA Peaches)

Being Gay won't stop you from touching souls and leading others to Christ. In my opinion, it just might help! Learn the scriptures so that YOU know them for YOU. Don't stand up and debate the issues unless God leads in that direction. Your best witness is walking with God everyday. Arguing right vs. wrong is always going to result in heartache. Just show that God lives in you and you will speak volumes to others that Christian and Gay are not contradictory!

Blessings

I hope I'm not out of line posting here but I do have some thoughts on this as well.
When I think of the media I think of the news as well as papers and even some literature.
Did you feel the Lord was specific as to what type of media? And could growing and witnessing on these sites possibly fulfill such?
Isaiah said the word of the Lord is line upon line and precept upon precept. Here a little and there a little.
We know our Lord told Peter to both feed his sheep and his lambs.
Maybe you should just take your time and learn a little here and a little there feeding the lambs while you are a babe and the sheep as you grow. Maybe even using a site like this as a safe haven of learning as you progress.
Just continue in faith and study to shew yourself approved and let all things happen in his time as it is written in Ecclesiastes.
The king didn't call Esther for 30 days and Darius didn't take the throne until he was 62.
Abraham was 100 when the child of promise came and Joseph spent around 18 years in prison before the dreams of his youth came to pass.
Just continue to seek the will of our Lord and the knowledge and leading of his spirit and he will be faithful to lead you down the right path in the right season.
May God bless you.

Good point about things happening in God's time, not ours. There's that word again: p-a-t-i-e-n-c-e........
