Sorry for the corny topic - but here goes!-

I am like a cat because I love sleeping, I always appear as soon as somebody rattles a biscuit tin, I purr when my back is stroked (not literally! ) and I am fascinated by the wildlife in the garden.

Another cat here...... Hard life they have - eat, sleep....sleep some more.... eat a bit... kill the rugs for a bit.... sleep some more... maybe wander outside.... sleep....
One of our cats always looks so smug when she's curled up on the bed in the morning knowing full well she can sleep the day away and I have to go to work.
Like cats it generally takes me a while to get to know people, but once I decide they're friendly, they're friends for life!

Hey, this is going to be way off center but as I read through the thread I thought about it and well, I'm not an animal but a bug/insect at this point in time. Maybe I was an animal earlier in my life and cats are of course my favorite 'cause I agree with the sleeping and responding like Pavlov's dog to the sound of food being offered (fridge opening, can opener etc. My cat always shows up with the sound of the electric can opener.) But as to classifying myself these days I'm with the lady bugs... I go out every day as necessary but always, ALWAYS want to return to the nest ASAP. The old saying is of course, "lady bug, lady bug fly away home, your house is on fire your children will burn." Well I've got an empty nest but it's my haven and where I feel safe during troubled times and comfortable all the time. So draw me a ladybug please.
