O.k., it's time to rekindle those Zimbo terms that I worked so hard to learn a few years ago & have now forgotten! Here's how it works. First, we post a word. Then you can post what you THINK it means. EVentually, we either give up & tell you OR you get it right! If you get it right, you should then use it in a sentence to get "credit" for the assignment. Got it? (I did this with my nurses a few years ago & it was quite interesting.) O.k., Kimmie! Here we go!
Lesson #1: "Wonky"
What do you think it means? Rose??????

Now, wait a minute! Let's do this right! First let's finish "wonky." Wonky -- Twisted, deviated (from Australian slang). Yet another approximate synonym for broken. Specifically connotes a malfunction that produces behavior seen as crazy, humorous or amusingly perverse. Also there is "wonked out," as in funky, demented, bozotic.
So the references to my mental state & bellydancing style or Kimmie's driving are both appropriate.
"The printer's font went wonky and everybody's listings came out in Tengwar."
You get the idea.
NOW for "dindindi....." A place to eat isn't quite right, Groucho, but you're getting warm....think more verbish.....Something Garth might say on "Wayne's World," for example....
