Just a little goofy this holiday season.....Today, I was humming "Ave Maria" on the drive in to work. Yesterday, it was "When you're sliding into home & your pants are full of foam......Diarrhea! Diarrhea!" AAAHHHH!!!!

Doc,

I believe you are in serious need of a vacation.

Marcia, I KNOW I need a vacation--but what about Kimmie? She's sounding stranger than I am now!

Count your many blessings. See what God has done. . .

That's what I'm singing right now. I was crying a few minutes ago. . . . But then I read these last three posts on this thread and now I'm laughing again. Thank you peoples for entertaining me!

Doc,

If you promise to leave the "Doc" part of you at home, you can come visit sunny Arizona anytime you'd like. There's Dew in the fridge, lots of sunshine, beautiful sunsets (you know they're good if even a color-blind fool like me can tell that they're spectacular), no snow and temps in the 70s. And, if Kimmie sends me chocolate, I might even let her come here on vacation too - cuz you both are sounding mighty odd these days.

Marcia?

Did you see where Kimmie called me a people boffin? Kimmie definately needs a vacation. But I want them to come to my house instead of to Arizona. They both have already sent chocolate to me! And Marcia. . . . . you were invited first!

Bethany

Maybe Doc can teach Kimmie how to sing "She'll be coming 'round the mountain when she comes. . . "

Bethany,

If they come to Colorado instead of Arizona, they'll be knee deep in snow. Now, Rio the Ski Bunny might like the snow but I thought maybe Doc and Kimmie might want to enjoy some southwestern sunshine. Nothing like having the sun beating down on you and no humidity in the air to get the body back to "normal" (well... Doc may never be normal again now that she's hanging in the 'hood with us... but it's worth a try anyway).

Marcia!

I don't want Doc to be "normal" I love her just the way she is and Kimmie is too far gone to even recognize normal. Ain't she wonderful?

Pssssttttt Marcia Doc emailed me that she was loose with a tube of glue and a kid she had to glue up. I wonder if she glued herself to the kid again?

And Rio wears a gun Marcia. Don't tease Rio. She is tough and she might run me over!

Kimmie,

I live on the corner of 11th Ave and 16th St. The padded cell is on the corner of 10th Ave and 12th St. If you are gonna be in a padded cell, come be in the one here! My old therapist is in charge of the joint and when she sees you with your blue hair and eyebrows, she will know that you are my friend and will prolly drive you to my house!Plus
she is gay and just as crazy as you are but she knows how to pretend better. My friend Ree lives right across the street from the padded cell and if Pam won't drive you Ree will put you on the back of her turquiose Harley and take you on a 50 mile ride to get to my house which is a 5 minute walk away!

Perish the thought of Doc ever being "normal" - I just meant "normal" by her old standards - fortunately she was willing to lower her standards so she could be out here in cyberspace with the loony tunes bunch. But, if she glues herself to one more kid, we're gonna have to do something with her. Otherwise she's gonna start looking like a Christmas tree with children for ornaments. Then we'd have to dye her blonde hair green - and we don't even want to go there....

I ain't ascared of Rio and her big ol' gun - especially since it'd be you she'd be running over and not me. Smile

And, Kimmie fits right in with the rest of us - so that makes her "normal" by our standards.

Marcia,

Doc was strange long before she came here! She carries a rubber chicken in her PURSE! just in case she needs someone to strangle. I am soooo
glad that she followed us home!

As for Kimmie. . . . . what a blessing! Yesterday, a problem arose in the chatroom and it was kinda scary for the person who is not prepared to deal with it but she watched watched me and responded like a trooper. (read between the lines Marcia) Marcia, will you please explain Yahoo to Kimmie.

And Rio. . . . . Well I can't breathe today and have fever. As long as she kills me and not just causes more pain, she can run me over.

Just for the record...it was Bethany wearing a purple hat over her purple hair, wearing a fuzzy purple coat, purple night gown and monster slippers while scootin around in her wheel chair at mid-night that about ran into my patrol car. Good thing I have cat like reflexes otherwise PB would be a purple spot in the middle of the road

Rio,

Bethany just wanted to meet you, that's all. She didn't really MEAN to almost hit your beloved cop car. And, I hope that your "cat like" reflexes aren't like the pictures I've seen of your cats. You know - the "lounging around on hangars in the closet" and "snooping in the fridge for a cold beverage" type reflexes. If that's the case, Bethany is in a world of trouble.

Bethany,

I'd love to explain Yahoo to Kimmie if I knew what you meant by "explain Yahoo". Are we talking about Yahoo messenger or Yahoo in general or just the Southern definition of Yahoo? Please, elaborate.

Doc carries a purse? I thought doctors all carried medical bags - like Marcus Welby, MD. If there's a rubber chicken in it, just how big is this purse?

Marcia, It's a fairly small purse--a Vera Bradley with all the nifty little pockets in the sides to hold my "equipment"/"toys." And it's a fairly small chicken. You know those stress balls you can mash on when you're having a bad day? This chicken is made of that kind of material only better so he squishes really wonderfully when you need to destress! (You can find them in the toy section at most K-Marts, if anybody is jealous--hee hee.....) Are those purple slippers BARNEY slippers, PB? Rio, I personally am glad you didn't squish PB into a little purple spot in the road. She's much more fun the way she is! Thanks for those cat-like reflexes! Wink

I've heard that there's more truth to this then fiction....that maybe even the waiters resturants are entertained by this chicken. Rumor on the street, which I have on good authority is NOT actually a rumor is the chickens name is Barney. Poor chicken!

Dear All,

Rio may have cat like reflexes but she must have really poor eyesight. My slippers were either grey or brown and they are bear paws! I can only wish for purple slippers because. . . . alas and alack . . . none of the purple ones that I have seen are warm enough to wear out on a Colorado night at 9 PM in December!

And you know that story gets bigger and bigger everytime Rio talks about it. At least this time she didn't bring in a mysterious church buddy. And honestly, the only thing I ran over was a cup in the parking lot when I was backing up my wheelchair to get out of Rio's way.

Kimmie doesn't understand how to use the messenger. I typed and typed but she never responded. Even Nalani and I were able to figure it out after you sent an invitation to me. But poor little Kimmie may be too far gone to ever figure it out! After all this is the one who keeps talking about rubber rooms!
