You would not believe all the hats that you will see at the rodeo for sale. There are booths and booths of them. Plus there are stores here that make custom hats. Unless you are willing to stay a little longer, I suggest that you go ahead and get your hat. The schedule that you were talking about doesn't leave much time for hat shopping. Now Kimmie and Linda on the other hand will have plenty of time because we will be going at off times for the concerts and rodeos just to see all the booths. You will need your hat for Sat. early in the morning when we go to stake out our spot for parade watching. I think that the only real opportunity you will have will be on Friday night when we eat and go to the free concert. But I think that we will be busy gabbing then and you won't want to miss out on that fun.

I thought that you were going to look at hats and boas and such on your N.O. trip. There will be lots to chose from there and you prolly won't have to pay as much. I am still refusing to wear a red hat.

Rio is wearing the goggles but she shouldn't need them in June and July. You can ask her about that yourself in one of the thousand emails you send us every day.

Ok DebBeReal, since no one is fessing up to the goggles I will. I had eye surgery and the only way I can be around our horses/llama is if I wear goggles for three weeks to keep the hay, dust, hair and whatever else out of my eyes. So far I have only scared a couple of our younger horses into a stampede when they saw something foreign on my face. As for the grass shirt and coconut bra, that will be Linda attired as such and will be quite the fashion statement at the "after the rodeo party". So it should be quite interesting, DewDoc and Kimmie comparing spurs and rubber chickens and Linda swishing around in her grass skirt and coconuts. Linda has been warned not to get too close to the horses with that grass skirt.

Oh and Rio. . .you musn't forget my purple feather boa and tiara! But Deb has other pics of Doc that she snagged by radio transmission. As soon as she finds where she lost them, I know that she post 'em.

I want you all to know that Bethany is getting ready for the Rodeo. The Princess is very excited at the thought of having some friends over instead of the usual frootloops who pass by.

And Bethany has promised not to over do it and rest even if folks our out she knows they will be returning.
