How can I add a picture to my member name? I like the way it personalizes each member but I haven't been able to figure it out. Thanks. Gnome.

Ok.
At the top of the thread find the GO button. Click it. Go to PROFILE. Once there, click on the link near the top right hand, that says something to the effect of EDIT PROFILE. Find the section that has the different avatars. I'll try to explain more later, but getting ready for bed.

Hi Gnome!

All that stuff has to be done in your profile. Go back to your profile in the same way you did to make your avatar. Choose to Edit your existing profile and scroll down just under your avatar. There you will find "Signature". Whatever you type in that space will appear at the end of each of your messages.

There is a section in this thread called "Testing" where you can do some tests to make sure you did it right.

Getting a banner for the bottom of your posts is beyond my skill set! Blu will have to talk to you about that. I have chosen not to have a banner because graphics take up a lot of space and the more space we use, the higher the monthly bill to keep this place running!

My Story?! lol. Well, I guess it all began back in 1824...just kidding!

I came here in the summer of 2003 and joined the boards officially on October 1st of that year. For me, I needed to "hang out" for a while before I joined. One day, there was something I just "had" to respond to and so I joined.

I've made wonderful friendships over the last 2 1/2 years. I will cherish them forever. Some of those friends have now moved on with life and some of them I've just been getting to know in the last year. All of them I cherish deeply!

Shortly after I joined the boards, I began talking to a wonderful woman a million miles away from me. We have become more than just friends and someday I pray we will be together in the same place forever!

Life is always fun...full of ups and downs. Some things stay the same and others change continually. I'm very thankful that God is in control of all things!

I am thankful that God brought me here and gave me a church family to share my life with. My local church is not affirming and they do not know I'm gay. This is a place where I feel like I belong on all levels of who I am!
