I was wondering if anyone had any experience similar to mine, and I am certain that it is probably quite commom. My neighbour has a gay brother who lives in the states. He and his partner wanted to come to Canada to be legally married in order to celebrate their 25 years together. She asked me if I knew a pastor who would perform the ceremony. I had recently met a pastor from the United Church of Canada. He agreed to do the ceremony. A little while later I made an appointment to visit the pastor with some friends who had questions re. the issue. We set a meeting time for the following Thursday evening and this is what occured.
